About D. Rex Holtze Jr., President
Rex Holtze graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1982 with a degree in construction management. He has worked as a project manager and estimator for more than 35 years.
For the majority of his initial career, he was a third-generation owner of the family general contracting business in Sioux City, IA. He sold that enterprise in 2012 and moved to Omaha, NE to concentrate solely on federal contracting projects.

In 2011, DR Holtze was formed as a total small business set-aside. This company also peruses construction projects in the federal contracting market. The following year, HM Plus Construction, Inc. was established as an SDVOSB. Rex Holtze and Dale McKinney are the owners of these firms, which provide work for the veteran administration and several other facilities in Iowa and Nebraska.
